🚨 Fyi, BMC is Asia’s Richest Municipal Corp, handling a budget bigger than some States! Also, Mumbai hasn’t had an elected MAYOR since March 2022. 🤦‍♂️🤡

Meet Madhya Pradesh PWD Minister Rakesh Singh. Sir, please answer these questions. 1. If “potholes will always exist”, then what exactly is the purpose of the PWD under your leadership? 2. Which country’s example are you talking about? Show one developed nation where roads

Chennai, Tamil Nadu No major metro tolerates scenes like this. For India’s Second Largest Economy, this is embarrassing and exposes how weak the urban administration really is. Greater Chennai Corporation shame on you!

Few Questions for DCM of Karnataka DK Shivakumar ji 1. How many more deaths on Bengaluru roads before you accept that potholes are a governance failure, not an accident? 2. Why is a global tech hub losing young professionals to basic road defects that should’ve been fixed

Reality: Kids walk next to a filthy deadly drain. Potential: With basic planning, this could be a clean, safe walkway. India doesn’t need miracles, just maintenance.

In Jharkhand, a perfectly good road is first scraped and damaged just so it can be “rebuilt” again. This is exactly how taxpayers’ money gets looted by the politician–contractor nexus.

Barmer, Rajasthan. Corruption is rotting the system from top to bottom. Every department is infected, especially PWD. 80 years since Independence and India still can’t build a basic, durable road. This is not failure, this is organised looting.

Bengaluru roads have become a money printing machine for officials & contractors. 3 yrs to build, 20 days to crumble and now Bengaluru East City Corporation is digging it up again in Janatha Colony, Doddakannalli. This is a well-oiled scam run in broad daylight.

Not a single politician is serious about issues this country is facing right now. Everyone just wants cameras and PR. Delhi’s CM promised to make the city pothole free before the monsoon and we all know what Delhi’s roads actually look like today.

The same road can be a filthy hazard or a world-class corridor — it depends on whether authorities choose neglect or basic civic responsibility.

The way driving licences are openly sold for ₹2–3k in India, this chaos is inevitable. Half the people on the road don’t even know basic driving. Everyone is literally going Bhagwan Bharose. This is why accidents happen: untrained drivers + zero enforcement = daily deaths.

Madurai looks completely neglected. This city is drowning in garbage, dust-filled roads, broken streets & political posters plastered everywhere. TN Govt can’t deliver even basic essentials like drains, proper waste management, functional streetlights.

Same Road. Same Space. Just the difference between neglect and basic urban planning. Clean footpaths, proper lighting, organised shops, trees. Nothing impossible. Only missing ingredient is competent governance.

Shame on you NOIDA Authority for lying. Nothing has changed, the place looks exactly the same. These are the latest photos. Where’s the cleaning you claimed to have done?

This is Kalyan in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, one of the richest urban zones in India. And yet this is the pedestrian infrastructure: broken pathways, garbage, zero maintenance. How does a “Top Metro Region” justify this level of neglect?

चिकाई (@chhikaii) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Same Spot. Same Space. One shows what neglect looks like. The other shows what basic urban planning can achieve. Why is this still impossible for so many of our cities?

Neglect turns public infra into a dead zone. The same stretch can look world-class with basic maintenance. Trimmed trees, clean footpaths, working lights, and regular upkeep. But when authorities stop caring, everything collapses into filth and chaos. India doesn’t need new
