With a heavy heart I share the news of the passing of Chris Crane. Chris served on the MSI Chicago board for over a decade; his leadership kept MSI focused on advancing education, youth development, and entrepreneurship. My thoughts are with his family, his legacy will continue.

My heart goes out to the family of Justice Sandra Day O’Connor. She was a model of leadership, especially for women. She was my shero. I'm honored to serve on the Board of the Sandra Day O'Connor Institute for American Democracy and continue to support her life’s work and legacy.

What a wonderful day MSI Chicago! The arrival of the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft was truly a momentous occasion. What an opportunity to spark the curiosity and creativity of future engineers, makers, scientists, and those who will create sustainable solutions to propel us forward.

It's not every day you get to see something that went into space! Thank you Dr. Chevy Humphrey and MSI Chicago for the the opportunity to welcome the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft to Chicago.

T minus 1 hour until SpaceX Dragon spacecraft arrives at MSI. Our fabulous curator Voula Saridakis, Ph.D. joined CBS Chicago to shed some light on this exciting artifact that will make MSI its final destination.
