Just had a wee chat with Geeta Guru-murthy for BBC News (UK) about those wonderful new #wallpaintings in #Pompeii . Of course, I'm more interested in the new dipinti and am in the middle of writing a thing... #AncientWorld

I would argue that the value of the Humanities is self-evident and that it doesn't need to have economic value to be worthwhile. But if you do need that, a House of Lords report says the economic value of the UK's arts and culture sector was £34 billion in 2022.

So good to see so many people who also think this is of vital importance. Dr Lewis Webb and I have ideas so watch this space….
