Members 820 Naval Air Squadron were honoured to join the families of those lost from the Penlee lifeboat Solomon Browne & Union Star for the dedication of a new memorial today, 41 years since the disaster #cornwall RNLI Penlee Lifeboat Royal Navy
The families of the lifeboatmen who died in the RNLI Penlee Lifeboat disaster stood alongside relatives of those on the Union Star ship on the clifftops of Cornwall as a new memorial was unveiled. The granite stone stands above where the disaster happened, 40 years ago.
