Very happy to share that I will be starting as a TT Assistant Professor in Biology at Bard College starting this fall! Our group will focus on molecular mechanisms of adaptation, particularly in current and emerging fungal pathogens.

Congratulations to Cole Belcher for receiving the Arthur J. & Flora D. Levin Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Research! Cole served as an undergraduate research assistant in the He Lab for 2 years, & he graduated in Spring 2024 with a BS in Biology (Integrative Biology Track).

Hanxi Tang (BS in Biology on the Cell & Developmental track, Spring 2021), who successfully defended her master’s thesis this summer, will be joining the Chemical & Systems Biology PhD program at Stanford University this fall! Congratulations, Hanxi, on this exciting new chapter!

Our seminar this week will be led by one of our very own, Bin He, PhD, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at University of Iowa. The seminar will begin at 3:30pm on Friday, Oct. 11, in Kollros Auditorium (Room 101), Biology Building East (BBE). All are welcome to attend!
