Huge thanks and paws in the air to Girl Scout Troop 691! They made cat mats, straw toys, and sock warmers for our pets, and they dropped off monetary donations as well. They were a great group and we loved our time with them!

This baby opossum was found without its mom, so Animal Protection Officer Worthey scooped it up and took it to Austin Wildlife Rescue. But first they had to pose for a picture together!

He's a little shy as a result and will need a patient adopter to help show him the ropes. We think he would do best with a confident doggy sibling as well.
