It’s taken me a long time to understand the arrogance in thinking i need to #empower people. We need to create conditions where what #already resides within each of us can find wings & soar. The deficit exists in #inequality #injustice etc around us. No more #DoingTo!

Listening to the ongoing one-sided coverage of #socialcare funding as a cost and drain - we need to start seeing spending on #socialcare as an economic benefit and driver enabling millions to remain contributive, active and engaged as citizens. #careaboutcare

This is a hugely significant report. As one provider said to me - we have never ever experienced the crisis of #workforce in #socialcare in Scotland that we are now living through. Urgent action is needed or social care will collapse followed by the #NHS.
