HCGs (Hyperchromatic Crowded Groups) are always a challenge to interpret in GYN cytopogy. Trick is to look at the edges of the fragments at higher magnification. The diagnosis here - HSIL. (SurePath LBP)

PSAMMOMA bodies (although quite specific when combined with cytomorphology) are rarely seen on FNA smears of “Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma”. This completely intact one is the best that I have seen over the years.

Some aspects of sarcoidosis that many pathologists are not aware of. Presented by me at USCAP24. 1- Necrosis of variable extent has been reported in as many as 39% of cases. Foci of necrosis are usually small but may be large in some cases. 2- Granulomatous vasculitis is reported
