Turns out - The Cybertruck battery has an empty crush zone inside; dead space for potential off roading impacts. Its not a spot for future battery capacity expansion. Thanks Sandy Munro for the clarification!

One thing people don't talk about enough are the *ridiculously* long warranties these electric trucks have on their batteries.

Ford Motor Company Lightning = 8 year, 100k mile warranty.

Tesla Cybertruck = 8 year, 150k mile warranty.

Rivian R1T = 8 year, 175k mile warranty.
