Today, at the FOP Memorial, we honored TPD Officer Trevor Scott Phillips, Investigator Dornell Cousette, Meridian Officer & Tuscaloosa native Kennis Croom, and former TPD Officer Garrett Crumby of Huntsville PD. They made the ultimate sacrifice. May we never forget them.

This morning, we celebrated the completion of the Western Riverwalk project. This historic investment is a testament to our belief in West Tuscaloosa’s endless opportunities.

Today, as a record-breaking crowd gathered in support of the Tuscaloosa Pre-K initiative, Mayor Walt Maddox led a moment of silence in remembrance of the April 27, 2011 tornado that took 53 lives and destroyed 13% of our City. We will never forget.

Had a blast running the Mayor’s Cup with my buddy Eli. Over 2,000 people registered to participate this year - the most in the history of the Mayor’s Cup.

I’m so proud of the way my hometown consistently shows up in support of pre-k for our T🍏S Board of Ed students.

Are my Atlanta Falcons playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers? How do you find a way to lose in the #NFLDraft ? The #AtlantaFalcons and the Atlanta Hawks never, ever make it easy. In the words of Clubber Lang in Rocky III, “Prediction - Pain.”

Enjoyed the opportunity to stop by packet pickup today for tomorrow’s Mayor’s Cup!

Over 2,000 people are registered for this year’s race - our highest registration in race history. Can’t wait to see you all tomorrow morning as we come together to support our pre-k initiative.
