Thanks to Stanstead Abbotts Parish Council for listening to the RHAG last week & objecting to the retrospective planning application at the stadium. The PC have also recognised the historical importance of the speedway track to the local community in their objection.

This photo is nearly 100 years old. 1928, Claremont Showground, Perth, I believe.

Imagine how exciting it must have been seeing these track racing pioneers finding ways to go faster and faster
