Our West Nile Region team is in Akaa Sub County - Zombo District for our regular community engagement. We are empowering community to be part our drug regulation efforts.

Our team is holding a stakeholder engagement with Kubala community, Terego District. We shared in detail with them why it’s important to get drugs from licensed outlets, challenges associated with hawked drugs and why herbal medicine practitioners need to be licensed.

Breaking: Our I Intelligence-led operation in downtown, Kampala leads to impounding several boxes of expired testing devices (malaria, hepatitis B and HIV) that were repackaged and sold to unsuspecting members of the public including clinics. Several suspects have been arrested.

We picked this up today. Ours is a commitment to support the pharmaceutical industry to meet international standards while we protect Ugandans by ensuring that we only allow on the market products that are of quality, safe and efficacious.
