Intimate partner violence is one of the most common forms of violence against women and includes physical, sexual, and emotional abuse and controlling behaviours by an intimate partner.

It is perpetuated by gender inequality and harmful traditional gender norms and practices.

As the world marks Menstrual Hygiene Day under the theme #PeriodFriendlyWorld , we reiterate this message from our #donttaxmyperiod march. Period stigma is as detrimental to the wellbeing of menstruating people as the lack of access to period products.
