Meaning 💵 already being spent in Tempe at businesses paying their fair share into city coffers will lose customers & the city lose tax revenue if those same people spend instead at a subsidized “entertainment district” that isn’t being taxed & isn’t pitching in. IOW a bad deal👎

We’d rather invest in roads, schools, veterans, public safety, sustainability, mental health, affordable housing & get resident input on what we value & need out of new development

Fact is, Tempeans are upset we weren’t included in the proposal now on our ballots. Voting NO allows us to go back to the drawing board and more importantly - back to residents - to discuss what we value, what we envision for our land & how we want to use our tax dollars #voteno

Sounds familiar! Every economic claim made by Bluebird/the Coyotes was bought & paid for. We’d rather deal in reality when it comes to our tax dollars & the reality is: this is a bad deal for Tempe. #voteno
