The way to explain London is this: this man called Count Binface, who really did change his legal name to Count Binface, and, as you can hopefully see, has a bin face, stood in the election for Mayor, and, when the results were announced, he got more votes than the far right did.

Likewise, voters did not align themselves with Hall on key issues such as tackling climate change (a top issue for 22% of voters) and air quality (19% of voters).

On a scale of these issues, voters were much more likely to place themselves closer to Khan than Hall.
