Fossil-fueled chemicals boss Sir Jim Ratcliffe has an anti-EV tirade in today’s Daily Telegraph, littered with outright falsehoods, half-truths and selective facts

Exhibit 1: Far from 'coming to a halt', EV demand grew by 25% in Q1 of this year

The way to explain London is this: this man called Count Binface, who really did change his legal name to Count Binface, and, as you can hopefully see, has a bin face, stood in the election for Mayor, and, when the results were announced, he got more votes than the far right did.

Likewise, voters did not align themselves with Hall on key issues such as tackling climate change (a top issue for 22% of voters) and air quality (19% of voters).

On a scale of these issues, voters were much more likely to place themselves closer to Khan than Hall.

Andrew 🤸 Steve Akehurst Lots of low quality respondents. London contains lots of demographics that are less likely to take part in online polling. Still very tricky to get representative groups of ethnic minorities. Impossible to predict turnout in London mayorals.
