It’s a great relief that the US House finally voted to provide military aid to Ukraine. Still, it’s striking that more Republicans voted “no” (112) than “yes” (101). Some of the no-voters are old-fashioned isolationists but many are pro-Putin apologists.

Yet again UCalgary Arts ECON prof Trevor Tombe proves that he’s an indispensable asset to all those - journalists, academics, politicians (if they’d listen), public - who want to understand what’s going on. Kudos.

It's an inaccurate CBC headline, but it's hilarious to see conservatives praise Goodall for opposing the #CarbonTax . She actually said it's 'not a bad thing at all' but 'it's not the solution' b/c it doesn't go far enough to stop 'big oil & gas' from 'emitting & mining & so on.'
