If millions of young Nigerians cannot adequately use a computer at 17 then we have a problem and we need to fix it immediately. We need to focus a lot more on ICT education across the country & equip our schools with desktops for students. #JAMB

What are you doing to contribute to the academic success of your children? Do you let them spend hours on TikTok and Instagram or mess around all day?

Children must have control. The overall JAMB performance is disappointing!

They will score 150 in JAMB. Can’t get into a competitive Federal University, parents will push them to a quack Private University who are mainly after money and not academic standards.

Dr Dípò Awójídé JAMB is the only examination body that can't be circumvented. I'm at rest with these results cos it shows that even if you buy your way through miracle centers you will still have to study hard to pass JAMB.

How will they understand what Boyle’s or Charles’ law means ?

TikTok and Instagram generation. Morning till night they are there. Many of them cannot spend 5 hours a day studying for an examination. The result is out and it is very disappointing. We need to take action to remedy the ugly situation. #JAMB .

Some folks that scored 220 or 240 in JAMB could not get admission way back. Sometimes because they selected competitive schools like UI, University of Lagos, OAU, UNN, FUT Minna, FUTA & co. Now these children want to enter OAU and study Medicine, Accounting or Law with 160 🤦🏾‍♂️

If you cannot score 200/400 you should write JAMB again. Lowering the standard encourages mediocrity.

This is really disheartening. I reckon it could be due to either of these factors or a combination of all:

•Excessive use of social media
•Lack of parental control
•Poor teaching & preparation
•Lack of academic zeal & motivation

Whatever it is, it should be addressed.
