Today our family visited Maryborough cemetery to remember our beloved mum who was born 17/3/21 and died aged 93 years. Her ashes are interred in the Aldridge family vault along with her dad and three brothers. Sadly missed.

I have Iviewed the NPC address by Allegra Spender and Dr Richard Denniss -“Australia’s Tax dilemma: the case for real reform”. Allegra will be putting forward this paper to the government later this year-the elephant in the room has been tax reform for a long time. Worth a watch.

Last night I watched a full length video of Queen plus Adam Lambert in Kyoto. Worth a watch if you’re a Queen fan. Adam brings his own style and he has a great voice for the Queen songs.A great light show and the use of screens gave great vision of Brian, Roger and Adam. Loved it

We had the saddest news last night-our GP died suddenly on Monday from a brain aneurysm.He leaves a wife and three primary aged children. So sad for the family and a community will mourn the loss-he became our new GP just two years ago after our GP of 35 years retired. RIP Doctor

I have never been one to have a NY resolution but this year I have one. My plan is to declutter every room in our house. Holidaying in our motor home last year made me realise I don’t need so much stuff-we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Any pointers most welcome 😂

My grandson (carpenter) and his girlfriend (apprentice carpenter) have spent a week of their holidays building this coffee table. She designed it and they both constructed it- she’s now carving the chess pieces. A lovely furniture piece and beautifully designed.
