A bill that opponents say would have gutted key provisions of Kentucky’s public records law has died on the last day of the General Assembly.

On HB509 (the open records bill) and SB6 (the anti-DEI bill), Senate President Robert Stivers said he didn't know if they'll get called for a vote today and they'd talk about it in caucus.

They've got 9.5 hours left.
