All magazines have a life, but sad news in any case. I wrote a few times for MAP when it started - they gave me impressively free reign

Well, this is sad news. I was lucky enough to write for them when Daniela Cascella was a guest editor.

A vital platform for Scotland but lots of writers from England also came up writing for MAP Mag, including me. I hope Arts Council England can see the value funding projects beyond their remit

i try not to be negative On Here but with this today and short circuit closing yday....imagine if our society prioritised creativity and abundance for all instead of gradually chipping away opportunity, support and money for the benefit of the worst, least creative cunts on earth

Sad to hear about the end of MAP, for whom I've written a few times about Alchemy Film & Arts - including one of my favourite ever pieces. Thanks for all the fantastic reading.

I loved MAP and loved writing my Gardenlust column for them, this is such a sad loss, but what an exceptional resource and what incredible writing they have supported 💙

MAP's totally unique publishing platform will be much missed. I've always been grateful to Alice and Laura for giving me and Suzanne the opportunity of a lifetime as guest editors back in 2016. The archive remains a sparkler✨
