So, I got laid off from NYPR yesterday.
I did a lot in 14 years: the live radio tightrope w/ The Brian Lehrer Show and A Daily Politics Podcast, the weekly trapeze act of On the Media, the duPont-worthy Blindspot: Tulsa Burning…
And innovative La Brega, which opened doors for more projects that move across language.

I worked at WNYC for 11 years. Seems like we were always dealing with some kind of change & turmoil. And the salaries of upper mgmt never suffered for it. You know what never changed, though? That the people who actually MAKE the content kept their heads down and worked.
