The reality is this: Many game 'pundits' and 'analysts' believed every word Xbox executives fed them. They cheered on -- and often encouraged -- consolidation without a critical eye to the many downstream consequences.

I took an enormous amount of abuse, but I was totally right.

Any statement Xbox / Microsoft makes about prioritizing resources should be laughed out of the building when they spent 70 BILLION to acquire Activision.

Money that could have gone to supporting their own teams, nurturing talent and giving studios the time they need.
