The scenes in Rafah now resemble those of dooms Day. People are fleeing their homes, walk very long distances on foot, carrying what they can, leaving everything behind. They sit by the roadsides, surrounded by bombings on every side, not knowing what to do or where to go!

I cannot begin to describe the hellish nightmare the Palestinians in Gaza are going through tonight.

Every journalist, every person on ground, everyone with a voice, are saying they have never seen the likes of this night.

The Gaza Strip is quite literally getting annihilated.

It’s not that Eurovision is important, it’s that not doing Eurovision is the absolute minimum you can possibly do. I can’t believe people are incapable of EVEN THIS it’s insane.

Honestly, I find few things more depressing than folk who fancy themselves as progressive, even radical just instinctively sneering at action, whether it be Just Stop Oil or boycotting Eurovision, solely cos they refuse to think about it and it might impinge on their lives.

I can't believe how much worse it is getting in Gaza right now, while our leaders say nothing and do nothing to stop Israel's war of annihilation. I'm terrified for my friends and their families. Calling for a ceasefire isn't nearly enough, there must be action immediately.
