We were happy to welcome the British Society for Surgery of the Hand Fellows to Ortho-GRI yesterday - we had an interesting day discussion aspects of post traumatic elbow complications and arthroplasty. They’re looking forward to attending the British Society for Surgery of the Hand Glasgow meeting as the culmination of their visits.

We had an opportunity to show Ben Dean the Friends of Glasgow Royal Infirmary Museum and site of Lister’s Surgical Wards during a Site Initiation Visit to Ortho-GRI. Great new exhibition on Sir William MacEwen from the team.

Bryn Jones, one of our knee surgeons, was invited to the SCOT Winter 2024 Meeting to outline the experience and safety of performing day-case joint replacement surgery at Stobhill Hospital. The programme has been at the leading edge of providing such care across Scotland.
