What a shite day. Been doing pretty well lately but today has just been horrible. Wanting to reach out and talk but not wanting to bother anyone is a horrible place to be stuck in.

Popped up to my grans this morning at the back of 10 with a wee bit of shopping for her. Was supposed to be a flying visit as had other stuff to do in town today. That’s me just getting home from hers now 😅 unexpected but we had a class day together. Full of laughs ❤️

Day off today and no plans. Beautiful day so thought I’d get the bus to invergowrie then a walk down to kingoodie to sit at the water then a long walk in the countryside back towards home. Amazing to spend sometime on my own surrounded by beautiful scenery and fresh air ❤️

Met a guy through recovery and we meet up every Monday morning for a coffee n chat. He’s supporting me through the loss of my grandad and I’m supporting him through the loss of his wife and to be honest he’s the reason I’ve managed through this grief. Talking helps ❤️

This morning wasn’t great but pulled myself together and watched the football then done some more deep cleaning getting the house ready for summer. Now catching up on the rookie with the biggest packet of crisps I could find in the shop. Enjoy the rest of your weekend all ❤️

On the bus home and I’m no even joking this bus was on this planet before buses were even invented 🫠 I’m convinced if we go over 30 mph the wheels will come off. So if I don’t make it it’s been nice knowing you all 🤣🤣. In all seriousness have a class weekend all 👍❤️

One of my favourite selfcare methods is sticking my headphones in and going on a long drive. Stopping off at a wee takeaway/chippy for something to eat. Then just sitting watching the world go by. Class for clearing the head.
