a prestigious #Jesuit university in Milwaukee. In the mid 70s, it literally had a 1% black student body. Imagine this girl from apartheid #SA even becoming an adjunct lecturer & starting a scholarship program for SA students there.

Drove past apollotheater in New York, and could not help reflect on one of my dreams during my short stint in showbiz. I use to dream of seeing my name on this marquee. Dreams do come true. I did, but was speaking not singing.

Our youth played a crucial role in struggle against #apartheid . From the streets of Soweto where they fought bullets with stones, to the world stage where cast of award winning #Sarafina educated the world about the brutalities of apartheid.
