A privilege today to host a Huni Kuin group from the Amazon rainforest of Acre, Brazil. Musicians and leaders Biruany Huni Kuin, Bixku Huni Kuin and Nawá Siã Huni Kuin are being introduced to the Venus fly-trap by Marcelo Sellaro in Kew Gardens Tropical Nursery.

Sad news that the School of Anthropology & Conservation, Kent MSc in #Ethnobotany is coming to an end as the Anthropology Dept closes. I've enjoyed teaching/learning from 300+ wonderful students over 25 years, a great legacy. Worldwide support for the programme but it was not enough: kent.ac.uk/news/statement…
