SA Elections today. My diary:
1. To Nkandla to observe former President Jacob Zuma voting.
2. To Groutville, Nobel laureate Chief Albert Luthuli’s home town.
3. To observe ballot counting at Ohlange High, where Nelson Mandela voted in 1994. School of Politics & IR at Queen Mary IEC South Africa
I am appalled but not surprised the Board of Women In Global Health - explicit purpose is to increase leadership & representation of women - sacks woman leader (who hears from a journo) & replaces with a man.
I have a chapter about this in my new book Sick of It virago.co.uk/titles/sophie-…
An absolute honour to profile Suerie Moon Global Health Centre on the eve of #WHA77 . Being at the cold face of negotiations of the #pandemic accord, her reflections are certainly poignant. thelancet.com/journals/lance…
Big love to all involved with #thevampireswife When I asked to buy this dress they made me one to measure, making me feel fab (rushing 2 fittings btw lectures) The dress that got me into all the BAFTA after parties (incl meeting Taylor). I even wore it to get wed. Best dress ever
