We’ve just been informed that Ingo Mogendorf, sadly died of a heart attack May 28th.

Ingo played one of the Nazi Pilots (Church Scene) in the Dad’s Army 1971 Film.

His ex wife said “thank you, He was very happy doing your interview”. Yours Elena Mogendorf.

John Le Mesurier was a fellow pupil at Sherborne & good friend of Alan Turing. He used to see Turing sitting alone in a classroom for hour after hour poring over mathematics text-books.

Three comedy greats died on the 15th April: actor Arthur Lowe in 1982, comedian Tommy Cooper in 1984 and actor and raconteur Kenneth Williams in 1988. The joy they brought to millions lives on through their work. Comedy kings one and all.
