During the Easter holidays many children in the UK spent their days in hospital. Spread a Smile helped provide Easter themed hospital visits, singing, games & much more. Thank you Spread a Smile for looking after our patient families wellbeing during the holidays.
Our amazing ambassador Paula Radcliffe officially started the Brighton Marathon Weekend on Sunday 7 April. Well done to everyone who took part. We couldn’t be doing what we’re doing, investing in research and supporting families, without you all.

We're thrilled to share a special feature from Beccy, our Sports Events Manager. 'The TCS TCS London Marathon holds a special place in the heart of Children with Cancer UK. Thousands of runners have completed that 26.2 mile course whilst wearing our colours'. bit.ly/3vLFagF.
The start of the school holidays mean time to relax. Sadly this isn't the case for those going through #childhoodcancer . There is no break. That's why we are excited to be working with Spread a Smile. They help make sure that those in hospital during the holidays are entertained
#FundraiserOftheMonth for Feb 24 was awarded to Hannah, who felt inspired to help after two of her cousins were diagnosed with cancer. Hannah has raised £2771.45. We couldn’t be doing what we’re doing without our amazing fundraisers.

Aged five, Mia was diagnosed with optic nerve glioma – a type of brain tumour. Mia didn't survive her diagnosis & sadly passed away in Aug 2020, aged 14.
