Officers arrested five people with the assistance of Live Facial Recognition technology at a deployment in Thornton Heath on Friday (12 April).

Some of the offences included a man wanted for harassment, a man wanted for burglary and another man wanted for theft.

Low income families have been priced out due to Sadiq Khan’s #ULEZ expansion. We can’t let him bring in pay-per-mile as well.

He may be claiming otherwise now - before an election - but he claimed he wouldn’t bring in the ULEZ expansion before the last election…

The blitz clean-up campaign is coming to Thornton Heath and West Thornton with an intensive clean up of the High Street starting this week to make the area feel cleaner and safer and to help restore pride for local residents and businesses. #confidenceinCroydon

Under Labour, Croydon Council was bankrupted & voters in Thornton Heath were taken for granted. 🥀

With the Conservatives, there is a plan to improve lives - cleaning the area & tackling fly tipping, alongside extra powers to Police. 🌳

Apart from bankrupting our town, Labour achieved nothing in eight years. Under the Conservatives we're seeing the finances back under control and action right across the Borough to clear graffiti and bring back pride to Croydon. Much to do but real progress.
