100+ Golden Hills Elementary 4th graders visited our Antelope Valley Solar Ranch in CA. Students toured the 242MW solar project in northern LA County to learn how it generates enough clean, renewable electricity to power the equivalent of 75k average homes per year!

We are powered by our passion for giving back to our communities. One hundred volunteers from our three New York clean energy centers teamed up with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Rochester for a “framing frenzy”, building the frames of two homes for two deserving families.

Graduates from Chicago Women In Trades visited Braidwood Clean Energy Center to observe how tradespeople support refueling outages. Our commitment to CWIT thru our Powering Change workforce development program supports job shadowing, pre-apprenticeship training and job site visits.

Our Community Champions program offers our customers the opportunity to apply for grants supporting causes that matter to them. Our 3,000th Community Champion, @spiritnys, helps homeless teens living on their own. We visited Spirit NYS to deliver a well-deserved surprise gift!

Congrats to the 3,000 students on track for careers in the skilled trades through SkillsUSA, a flagship partner of our Powering Change initiative. We’re expanding our partnership to NEISD CTE Center & TSTC in Waco to support future skilled pros in fields such as power generation.

Every year, we team up with Candlelighters and the Sugar Land Space Cowboys to create an uplifting and unforgettable experience for local families fighting childhood cancer.

We recently completed six spring nuclear refueling outages at our clean energy centers in IL, MD, NY and PA. Tens of thousands of tasks to set up the nation’s largest fleet of reliable nuclear power plants for an uninterrupted summer of carbon-free electricity generation.

Director of Nuclear Project Management Anna Krause has spent 19 years at Constellation, starting in 2005 as a design engineer. She sees room for improvement in diversifying the nuclear industry and is doing her part to get the next generation interested in STEM-related fields.

Our employees volunteered over 102,000 hours in 2023. We’re looking to top that in ’24. This week for #NVM , our teams biked 150+ miles to raise $30k for @mssoicety, donated $5k worth of clothing and supplies thru Oswego County Opportunities & packed 1,000 lbs. of potatoes with Chicago’s Food Bank.

We’re always investing in the performance of our #CarbonFree energy assets. Recently, we installed a 225-ton rotor at Muddy Run Pumped Storage facility in PA, which provides 1,070 MW of clean hydro power. Critical to meeting dynamic peak electricity demands for the regional grid.

Sim Lang Koch from our Retail Operations team kicks off #AAPI Heritage Month with a thoughtful message on how the pressure to fit in melts away in environments like Constellation’s that “make room for every one of us”.

We were honored by @BreakthroughHou for our support of its mission. Over the past year, our Houston team has hosted career days & provided backpacks/school supplies to middle schoolers and sent care packages and personalized words of encouragement to first year college students.

Volunteers in ILL joined Toes n Water to collect 1,800+ pieces of trash from Gillson Park Beach. Weighing in at 43+ pounds, the debris was sorted and logged into the Alliance for the Great Lakes database to help researchers better understand the types of trash making its way to Lake Michigan’s shores.

To cap off 🌎 Month, Grace Stanke visited NHW Elem School to teach 4th graders about clean energy, nuclear safety & environmental sustainability through “The Power of Gabby Green,” a Constellation-produced presentation that gets kids thinking about energy in a fun way.

#NationalVolunteerMonth is winding down but our passion for giving back is never-ending. This week we refurbished a deck for an 86-year-old veteran, cleared 10 yards of trash from the Susquehanna River, planted 80+ trees & hung 50 bird boxes & built habitats for native species.

~100 Constellation employees attended American Association of Blacks in Energy’s 47th annual national conference & several of our leaders helped drive the dialogue on key topics impacting the industry.
