HACA is extending its April 2024 waitlist opening for ONE DAY ONLY on May 6, 2024, from 8 AM - 8 PM PST. Applications will be accepted for its Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program and HACA-owned Project in Emeryville for families with very low-income and extremely low-income.

Join DIALOG partners Amit Price Patel and Mona Lovgreen, together with Pol Fite Matamoros, UC Berkeley PhD candidate, and Master of Urban Design students as they present studio work next Thursday, April 25, 6 PM - 8 PM at Emeryville City Hall.

This bond will provide the region with the level of investments we need to produce, preserve, affordable housing and protect vulnerable residents from displacement.

Public Safety Notice

On Thursday, March 7 from 9 AM to 11:30 AM, traffic signals at the intersection of Hollis St. and Powell St. will be set to Flashing Red Lights due to sewer work.

Please be extra cautious if you use this intersection during this time.

Thank you to our dedicated Emeryville Police Department officers & their regional law enforcement partners on their quick action to apprehend the individuals involved in the thefts from earlier this week. We are stronger when we work together to address the organized crime impacting our cities.

On Tuesday night I had the great honor of issuing my first proclamation as mayor: Proclaiming February 2024 as Black History Month in the city of Emeryville.

Marina Park Closed

Due to tree damage from the storms, Marina Park closed until further noticed. The City is advising the public to obey all signage and stay out of the park, parking lot, roads, and surrounding areas.
