Our team participated in the 2024 Carwasherxs Wellness Fair hosted by CLEAN Carwash Worker Center. We shared information about health and safety in the car wash industry, talked about the importance of heat illness prevention, and invited participants to our upcoming training sessions.
@CA_WorforceDev is thrilled to share the journey of one of our grantee's Workforce Partnership's amazing participants: Lacy. She began her training while in a detention facility. Lacy now has a stable income, a new car, and is on the cusp of becoming an alcohol and drug counselor.
