📜The Graves appellation has an interesting history - the first vines are thought to be 2000 years old, making it the oldest in Bordeaux

🍷The majority of the wine produced is red: producers add a higher amount of Merlot to the dominant Cabernet Sauvignon to make softer wines

The stunning Neptunea shelter is located on the edge of a secret cove at Lac de Bordeaux Bruges

In our imaginations, it connects 2 worlds: the opaque animal shell hints at a life beyond that can’t be seen & this ambiguous relationship between a protective shell & a fragile mass

Preparing for pruning entails removing the staples & lowering the trellising wires to make the work easier.

Winemakers begin as early as mid-November, unless they're able to do it later in a shorter time-frame. It's a long but essential process in the vineyard’s growth🌿

A swarm of bees was spotted in the vineyard at Château Lescalle in Médoc. Emmanuel Des Brest, the cellar master, took care of it by giving the bees a nice home in the vineyard’s surroundings

The Bel-Air windmill has been towering over the vineyard of Château de l'Orangerie since the 18th Century ✨

Towards the end of the year, it lights up the night in the Entre-deux-Mers region & can be spotted from just over 40km away in Saint-Félix village!

Amphora-winemaking draws upon all the advantages of natural micro-oxygenation due to the porous clay, allowing wines to develop slowly & steadily
