What a fantastic final week of this half term we have had in Reception! We have released our butterflies, worked with 2D shapes in maths, planted sunflowers and finished the week with a class treat of a Lego afternoon. The Wings' CE Trust

Adventurers have been reading “What the Ladybird heard” this week and have created some beautiful paintings and models. Outdoors we have modelled with clay exploring the different textures using wooden sticks for ladybird legs. Indoors we have carefully painted ladybird spots.

Year 5/6 have been making buildings today inspired by Fredrick Hundertwasser. We have been making these out of clay using our artistic skills to complete our final designs. Final products will be posted once the paint has been added. The Wings' CE Trust

This week in Reception we have continued our Mini Beast theme. The children were intrigued by the web we created and have written all about what they would do if they had their own pet spider. The Wings' CE Trust

Explorers’ story this week is The pig is in the Pond !

We also invited our parents in to buy lovely fruits and vegetables from our Farm Shop. We were amazed to find a carrot growing in our garden.

Our mini beast themed book this week has been Incy Wincy Spider. The children have enjoyed singing and dancing to the rhyme. Outdoors we have enjoyed gardening and found lots of insects along the way. Indoors we have used some fruit to give our water scent and colour.
