Snow Bunting still present at Longdon Marsh today, along with drake Ring-necked Duck. Also Ringed Plover, Marsh Harrier, 2 Great & 5 Little Egret, Peregrine, Red Kite and newly arrived and singing Chiffchaff’s & Blackcap.

Good wader passage today at Sker Point & Kenfig NNR. Whimbrel, 3 Golden Plover, 50+ Sanderling, Sker rocks at high tide.Black-tailed Godwit, Little Stint & Wood Sandpiper on the east shore of pool, latter 2 flew north at 1.30. Also 2 Wheatear and 6+ Yellow Wagtail.

Pleased with my 1st Clifton WeBS count this morning. 18 Black Tern’s and a fly through Spotted Redshank were the obvious highlights. Also singles of Pintail, Mandarin, Barnacle Goose & Common Gull and CG354, GJ232, EG37, MA278, GA10, SV20, T.11, TU82, ET2 & CO119.

Clifton Pits WeBS count late morning and early afternoon. 253 Cormorant is a significant count, 11 Little Egret, 1 Shelduck, 28 GG, 7 LG, T.31, SV 12, TU 55, WN 41, Snipe, Kingfisher, Peregrine and 3 Yellowhammer.

2 Glossy Ibis left Ripple Pits this morning at 7.25 heading north west, also Red-crested Pochard, Great Egret and Common Sandpiper. Eclipse male Ring-necked Duck still at Clifton on main pit.#worcsbirding
