Thread: I don’t get outraged easily, but Columbia University’s decision to call NYPD to arrest 108 protestors was unconscionable. It raises troubling questions about the university's leadership and even more important moral questions: How should we deal with dissent and disagreement?

What lesson is Columbia University teaching when the administration suspends peacefully protesting students, branding them as 'trespassers' ripe for arrest by NYPD? Per Columbia UniversitySpec, Shafik is more concerned with saying the right thing to Congress than doing the right things for students.
