#Springflowers covering hedges in white like snow across all UK & Ireland. This is blackthorn (Prunus spinosa, Rosaceae). Large shrub growing upwards and also sideways using suckers. Fruits, called sloes, used to flavour alcohol spirits and, historically, to fake port wine.
