I am so proud of the hard work & commitment of our students & educators. We kept kids as our priority & never lost focus. With the continued support of our Board, families & community, we will keep doing the important work that has to happen for our kids.

I visited schools on both sides of the river today. I saw kids excited to be back and staff who love their students and will do whatever it takes to help them succeed. Welcome back, #JPSchools Family!

We started school this week but added a very special group of children today as our PK and kindergarten students arrived for their first days of school. Tomorrow we are thrilled to welcome back all of our #JPSchools students.

I ran into two of our John Ehret High School students this past weekend. They make me proud of the work happening in our Jefferson Parish Schools classrooms, and I’m excited to see what the future has in store for them.
