What a wonderful experienced Dosbarth Skomer had at The Lost Words Exhibition with PCNPA Education / Addysg APCAP. The children explored the artwork and poetry of Robert Macfarlane and @JackieMorrisArt, went in search of the lost words in nature and connected these words to their habitats.

Dosbarth Skomer have embraced the snowy weather and are investigating the properties of snow! We are using our senses developing our descriptive language, constructing our own ‘snow selves’ linked to specific criteria and are using our DCF skills to photograph snowflakes!

We had a wonderful workshop for the Adopt a Tributary Project at Deadman’s Lake where we took river samples. We discovered the different invertebrate species living on our river and discussed their quantity to ascertain whether pollution is having an impact. Diolch West Wales Rivers Trust
