Julien, on pulling some homers this series:

'Pull is a little bit more satisfying, because I don't do it. Everybody's surprised when I do it. Even myself.'

Simeon Woods Richardson, on the feeling of landing a more consistent MLB rotation spot:

'Long time coming. A lot of blood, sweat and tears over the years. But yeah, it’s actually a sense of humbleness, one; thankfulness; gratitude. But now I get back to work.'

6, White Sox 3.

The record: 11-13

The Twins took care of business against the worst team in baseball with a four-game sweep. Not a perfect series by any means, but they did what they needed to do to find some momentum. Now only two below .500.

This has gotten somewhat interesting. Steven Okert got wild and issued a walk and hit a batter to load the bases in the ninth.

Eloy Jiménez is the tying run at the plate as Griffin Jax enters.

Carlos Santana needed that one. He's been hitting the ball harder of late, and this one went over the wall for his first homer as a Twin.

5-2 is the score.

Brock Stewart had been hoping to face Paul DeJong this series. They were teammates at Illinois State in college and it was an injury to Stewart (then an infielder) that opened up some playing time for DeJong in college, according to Stewart.

Eddy Julien bids adieu again. Second career multi-homer game for him, with both coming this season.

Big insurance run, and he has seven this season, with homers to both left and right today.

Just hit the ball forward, as Rocco Baldelli says.

That's five straight hits for the Twins to open the sixth inning, including two left-on-left knocks by Larnach and Kepler where they didn't hit it hard but put it where the defenders weren't.

Castro RBI single makes it 3-2.

Well, that was fast.

Eddy Julien's sixth of the year and Ryan Jeffers' fourth of the year have immediately closed the gap in a matter of two pitches.

2-2 tie off Soroka, who did not get a swing and miss all day.

Final line for SWR:

5.0 IP, 7 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 6 K
94 pitches, 66 strikes

Not the cleanest outing, but he limited damage and certainly kept the team in it. Offense needs more than 2 hits against Soroka.

More traffic in the second for SWR, but he works out of bases loaded, none out with only one run allowed, striking out the final two.

1-0 Sox lead.

If you need any more indication that Max Kepler seems to be feeling better, that 115.4 mph liner matched the hardest-hit ball of his career (matching one hit all the way back in 2016).

Only a diving grab by Nicky Lopez prevented it from driving home a run.

Willi Castro: 'I think yeah. It's the best birthday I've had so far.'

Not only did he have the big day at the plate, but he said his wife made him a tres leches cake with flan in the middle, so that quote checks out.

Bark in the Park, redux:

It’s 10:26 p.m., the game has been over for more than an hour, and Joe Ryan is alone on the field hitting fungoes to his dog.

Larnach initially eliminated his stride altogether this offseason and went no-stride into spring but naturally saw a small step come back into the swing.

Still, much simpler and less movement to begin his swing, which he says helps keep him more balanced and controlled.

Simeon Woods Richardson is being recalled to start tomorrow against the White Sox. Bailey Ober is being pushed back a day to the Angels opener.

Ronny Henriquez will be optioned to make room.
