To remind you we are opening at 3pm today so we can enjoy a little time at Weymouth Octoberfest beer festival. Why not pop down when you can to enjoy these local ales and ciders?

555 different cask ales from 118 different breweries. Approximately 47,000 pints sold. As well as many pints of cider not a bad effort from Nat and Dave since June 30th 2018

It's still #CaskAleWeek , and that's what we do. Gene would like to welcome you all to the Doghouse to try these local Real Ales and Ciders. I look forward to meeting you and chatting about my vision for the Doghouse - don't worry, nothing too significant is going to occur.

Friday October 6th - Weymouth Octoberfest.
Consequently we will be opening a little later that day so we have time to enjoy some Welsh ales. We will be opening at 3pm and expect to have a number of Dorset Ales up on the stillage

Woo Hoo!!! Don't worry folks, the Doghouse will remain much as it is for the forseeable future

Four lovely ales on this weekend, all from independent breweries in the South West. Alongside we have our usual array of ciders, quality wines and spirits plus lush craft ales in the fridge

What a weekend! England Lionesses hopefully doing their thing on Sunday. Here we have four new ales to us (three to Weymouth I think?) on the stillage, and two new breweries.

Since summer can't decide whether to joins us or not then I've mixed up the ales a bit, couple of summery ones, a couple of more traditional 'by the fireside' ales. Ciders? All year round of course!!

Lovely fresh beers on for you this weekend. And it might not rain every day!!

It's back - oh yes. That there Dr Jay's IPA is on the stillage along with other lovely ales and traditional ciders

Our latest batch of craft ales courtesy of Electric Bear Brewing Co.

All these lovely ales and ciders but what's that? Dr Jays IPA at 8% ? Yes, it is indeed, brewed by Dr Jay who you may also recognise from the Doghouse as Beardy Dave. This IPA is everything you would expect from said gentleman.

Cask Ales, Traditional Ciders, Quality Wines and Spirits, Craft Beers in the fridge. Jolly nice people to talk to as well. Oh, and Ruddles of course. #isaaccider #BranscombeValeBrewery

I think I am right in saying that this is the first time we have had the four more established local breweries to Weymouth all presenting beers at the same time in the Doghouse

Even though this weekend is not a bank holiday we are always in holiday mode here at the Doghouse. So here are you non-holiday ales and ciders for the weekend including a special to commemorate the Dambusters raid

Look at this lovely lot, worth noting the 'coming soon' bunch too that will be on later in the week. Mrs J and I will be in Spain of course (did we mention that?) so please come and support my Dollies looking after the pub next week.
