On Wed., July 30th, the children's dept. held its last weekly summer Taste the Book series program. Attendees listened to the story Little Taco Truck by Tanya Valentine, did a related craft, and then were treated to some (you guessed it) tacos!

Turnback Tuesday: an image of the aftermath of the Flood of 1955. Spector Furniture on Main Street, Ansonia, suffered complete loss of merchandise as did so many other businesses and homes in the area. Luckily, Spector Furniture survived and is still in the same location today.

Children ages 5-11 are invited to use their creative talents and stir their imaginations during this drop-in program (no registration). Masterpieces will be displayed for all to see and admire!  All levels of building skills are welcome! All materials will be provided.
