John Duggan Me (Waterford) and my Pal (Limerick) were there. Outside. It was so quiet and lonely. We booked a table in Croke Park hotel, ate and drank all day. We had a super day and one of us went home happier than the other.

(1) Many teenagers love sport and I and many have (in past) and are managing teams in Gaelic and ‘soccer’. In the opinion of many, and I’m only talking about underage level, a full ‘competition’ game or match is more important than a training session in another code.

(2) For players doing different codes, it’s hard for them to decide if there’s a clash & managers should really try see the bigger picture by not having ‘children ’ having to decide one over other. Managers should work closer for betterment of all : players at the heart of it.
