After days of Biden repeatedly condemning campus protests as antisemitic, pro-Israel demonstrators have now violently attacked an encampment at UCLA, calling for a 'Second Nakba!'

A great thread on the powerful impact of and pretrial release. Instead of seven years in jail, he continued his life and demonstrated his innocence.

Thank u Alec! The Humphrey decision that you, the Civil Rights Corps team and San Francisco Public Defender's Office and Mr. Humphrey won is what allowed for his pretrial freedom, so he was able to fight the charges at home instead of in jail for all those years.✊🏾🙏🏾

“Heroic” and “deescalation”? What video they looking at? Plainclothed stopped and put hands on pedestrian because mayor didn’t want him in his video shoot, then they toss in a metal baton and continue to pursue and escalate the violence. That’s some dangerous “deescalation”

An extraordinary story about freedom instead of pretrial detention.

7 long years an innocent man would’ve been locked up. Instead home w/ his family, working, living, partnering w/ his attorney. Case finally dismissed.

He would’ve probably pled guilty if he was in.
