Delighted to finish my visit to the Netherlands in Petten, where the High Flux Reactor's key role in medical isotopes production has notably impacted healthcare. Forthcoming PALLAS reactor will ensure 🇳🇱 continues its contributions to healthcare innovation. Promising times ahead!

Visited Urenco Global NPP in Almelo in the context of my 🇳🇱 visit, where they excel in uranium enrichment & stable isotope production, contributing to the spread of the benefits of peaceful nuclear energy uses. Also visited ETC Nederland centrifuges for uranium enrichment.

Nu 🇳🇱 zich voorbereidt op een grotere rol in kernenergie, is het cruciaal om te zorgen voor robuuste veiligheidsvoorschriften. Ontmoeting met Vivianne Heijnen van Ministerie IenW benadrukte de toewijding van het land aan dit doel. @IAEAorg staat klaar om onze steun voort te zetten.
