It was a pleasure welcoming the Civic Youth Fellowship interns as they go forward with their #yegcc internships and chatting with our other members regarding the provincial election.

Two big moments from the Alberta 2023 election.

Rhiannon Hoyle, elected for the NDP in Edmonton-South, is the 1st Black woman MLA in Alberta history.

Jodi Calahoo-Stonehouse, who won in Edmonton-Rutherford for the NDP, is the first Indigenous woman MLA in Alberta history.
