This week marked my 22years of colour service.

Margaret Robertson has no family, if anyone can attend would be lovely.

She was 102, a former PMRAFNS McIndoe nurse,looking after Guinea Pig Club injured

The Queen has paid her first visit to The Royal Lancers in North Yorkshire, since becoming their Colonel-in-Chief.

The Lancers lie close to Her Majesty's heart as her father, Major Bruce Shand, served in the Regiment during the Second World War.

April 22nd marks the 116. birth anniversary of Janina Lewandowska – the 1st woman in Europe to parachute from 5 km height 🪂 and the 1st female pilot in the Polish Air Force 🇵🇱🛩 She was the only woman executed in the Katyń massacre #OutstandingPLWomen

Delighted to represent the Artists Rifles at the Laying Up of the Colours of The London Regiment today. A moving service was held in the church of St Lawrence Jewry Next Guildhall followed by lunch in the Guildhall.

Today is the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Katyń Massacre. One of the many thousands of victims was a cousin, Stanisław Kazimierz Karłowski (1907-1940). An investigation conducted by the Russian Federation confirmed Soviet responsibility.
