After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like. yahoo.com/news/articles/…

“By luring people to these expensive plans and making them dependent on subsidies, lawmakers not only wasted taxpayer dollars and invited fraud but also effectively killed the market for affordable alternatives. Continuing this scheme would be fiscally reckless and irresponsible

Yes! But we can improve upon it even more! Let's build urban and suburban areas that create connection and 3rd places and deprioritize the pre-eminence of cars in our lives. Areas that are this dense don't need so many cars.

9/ We want to be a platform for hundreds of builders. To do that, we designed a small parcel fabric where lots of people co-create a real city, not a monoculture. The building types we’re most excited about are row homes (👋Bobby Fijan) and courtyards (👋@urbancourtyard).

11/ The magic of great city living is having both jobs, shops, and entertainment and nature close by. By designing compact neighborhoods, we’ve been able to reserve more than a third of the area – over 5,000 acres – for greenways, parks, and greenbelts, incl. a huge central park.

This is one of my favorite charts at Buffer right now. It's the chart of our number of paying customers. And it might look like we've just experienced some awful churn, but that's not what it is. Those drops in number of paying customers are when we proactively cancelled

I’d really love to see alcohol, gambling, and marijuana all be banned from advertising in the same way we made it illegal to advertise cigarettes. I believe these things should be legal, but I don’t think they should be permitted to be advertised.

Matt Duff 100% this, just add pharmaceutical drugs to the list as well. No medication should be something you “ask your doctor” for, they should diagnose your condition and prescribe treatment.
